Dianna Cates Dunn » Meadowfield

Meadowfield unfolds as a vibrant exploration of color and form, where bold hues and delicate pastels converge in a dynamic interplay. Layers of reds, blues, greens, and pinks weave together, creating a textured landscape of shifting shapes—some geometric and precise, others flowing and organic. Circular motifs and lattice-like patterns ripple across the surface, suggesting an unseen rhythm that beckons the eye to move through the composition. There is a sense of restless energy balanced by careful structure, inviting quiet contemplation amid the apparent chaos. The subtle depth born from overlapping forms evokes a landscape at once familiar and mysterious, echoing the natural complexity and hidden patterns found beyond the surface of the Rio Grande Valley. This work captures the spontaneous pulse of a meadow in motion—alive with the unseen forces that shape it. Nature always has an impact on the soul. It's vibration is pure and addictive. The meadows of spring and summer are tonics to an unsettled heart.
