Dianna Cates Dunn » It's All Talk

It’s All Talk pulses with an unpredictable energy, where color and form collide in a restless, almost electrical dance. Blues, pinks, oranges, and greens unfold across the surface in layered bursts, each stroke and splash carrying a sense of movement that pulls the eye deeper into the composition. Amidst this vibrant chaos, soft grey circles appear like quiet pauses—brief moments of stillness that both contrast and complement the vivid backdrop. The interplay between sharp geometric lines and fluid textures speaks to a tension between control and spontaneity, mirroring the complex rhythms of life along the Rio Grande Valley. This piece invites an active encounter, encouraging viewers to embrace the interplay of unpredictability and balance woven through its energetic surface.
